Tea Frog
6:00 am
"Ed come down here now!!!"
"What is it?"
"Just get down here now!!!"
"Ok, OK...."
6:03 Walking downstairs...
"What is it?!!!"
"There is a frog in your tea cup!!!"
"There's a what?"
"A frog!!!"
"Ha, Ha, very funny"
6:05 Walking up to sink; Look in tea cup...
"Oh my god, there is a frog in my tea cup!!!! How did that get there?"
"I don't know!"
6:07 Kids come in...
"There's a frog in your tea cup!!!"
6:08 House fills with laughter...
In the quiet suburban grass jungle of Guilford CT lives a very rare and elusive species of frog. A species so rare it has never been seen before in it's natural habitat. Until now.....
TEA FROG (aka "Ginseng")
Not one of us can figure out how "Ginseng" (as our eldest son affectionately named him) got from outside in the yard, through a door/screened window, across 20 feet (+/-) of floor, up 3+ vertical feet of cabinets, across the stone counter and into my teacup!
After his "photo shoot", we let him go in the garden where he is safe and sound. Good thing I didn't stick my tea in the microwave (and drink it)!
This mystery will leave us scratching our heads for some time!
