The Adventures of Callie & Daisy

About a year and a bit ago, we rescued our dog Daisy (from a shelter) whom you may have seen on this blog before. We also have a Cat, Callie, who has been with us for quite some time. When we brought Daisy home I knew there would be some adjustment issues. Well, for quite a while Daisy would try to make friends with Callie, and Callie wanted nothing of it. Callie would hiss & spit and given the chance, swat the heck out of Daisy. This went on for some time until one day when we gave them both a haircut on the same day. On that day everything changed and an alliance was formed.
