Rub a Dub Dub, the brides in a tub!!!

Jaime & Ed rounded out our 2009 season with their wedding event in Whippany, NJ at the Birchwood Manor. They are part of a larger group of friends of which I photographed about 8 weddings  { Thanks Ali & Jeremy Cordova, "the checks in the mail" ;) }.
I arrived about an hour early and had a few minutes to visit General George Washington's headquarters: "Ford Mansion". Well, actually, the mansion was closed, but I did get to walk around the grounds imagining what it must have been like during that period in history... Anyway, I met Jaime and her "entourage" at the Westin Governor Morris Hotel in the Presidential Suite. I really enjoyed capturing the pre-ceremony because it was a friendly, calm & electric atmosphere. Knowing that Jaime has a great personality allowed me to ask of her what most brides would not even think of doing... My question; "How would you feel about getting in the tub for a few shots???" was met with the biggest smile followed by her hopping right in (with the help of her girls). AWESOME!!! Everything followed suit and both Jaime & Ed had a fantastic, emotional, and exciting wedding day! Thanks Jaime, Ed (your "little ones" who did a fantastic job!) and all who attended. It was a great day!

Look for Jaime & Ed in next issue of "Manhattan Bride(s)" where you can read more about their day and see more of our images.
