Tell me a story.

We spend alot, I mean ALOT of time in front of our computers. Some people listen to music when they work,  but we prefer a good story, or book.

I like to listen to old time radio programs. Sometimes I use I-tunes and subscribe to certain (only free) stations as they have a ton, but I am now using a free streaming station called " radiolovers.com " . There are hundreds of hours of old time radio programs from the 1940s - 1980s. They have comedies, dramas, mysteries, variety, westerns, sci-fi (my favorites), music and more. I strongly recommend checking out radiolovers.com and check out what entertainment was before the television, computer, and ironically, the internet. The things your grandparents listened to when they were young. I think you'll find something to your taste, or at least get a kick out of it! Oh yeah, get the "Yahoo Media Player" to listen. Its light weight and streams right from your browser.

Lori on the other hand prefers her Sony Walkman which plays audio and video. It's a very cool player, smaller than a credit card, and is a great alternative to the ipod, costing much, much less. Loris favorite thing to listen to are novels. She gets them as a free download from our library. She can download almost any book she wants free!  Ask you local library about this free resource.

Enjoy,

Ed
